Introduction
Hello, my name is Leo Siiman and I am a mentor in the DigiYouth programme. If your team is interested in designing and creating digital products or services that include interative 3D models or games created in the Scratch programming environment, then I can help you. Below are some examples of what you could possibly create.
Digital 3D Models
Interactive digital 3D content is a new technology that is gradually becoming more and more available on websites and even works on many smartphones. It offers potential customers a better way to visualize and engage with products or services. Below is an example of 3D content created using a hand-held 3D scanner.
Scratch Web Apps & Games
Computer and video games are a multi-billion euro industry. If your team is interested in gaming, then the Scratch programming environment is a good place for beginners to start. An example of the popular mobile app Angry Birds someone made in Scratch is shown below (the webpage link is here).
Currently, Scratch does not work on mobile phones. But starting in January 2019 a new version of Scratch will be released which will allow you to create games that work on tablets and mobile phones (see this webpage for more info). A temporary mobile viewer for Scratch games is provided by clicking on the button below, but it might not be fully functional.
Summary
In summary, if your team is interested in web app design, creating interactive 3D models or programming games, then I can help you.
